This is how I remember him best, as an Orlando player. He was the reason I first got interested in the NBA. I had the jersey and the huge Magic puffy jacket to go with it. I still have the basketball cards, my favourite being the O'Neal/Hardaway Thunder and Lightning card.

Then, when I got back into the NBA this past season or so, Shaq moving to the Celtics certainly helped me choose to support them.

My favourite song in the world, covered by a band I have a passing interest in. It's not bad, in fact musically I quite like it. Rivers Cuomo's voice isn't quite suited to it though. A reasonable effort.

I watched the final of stage four this morning and the image of the Leopard-Trek riders and Tyler Farrar was beautiful. The pain in their faces was obvious, they were all deeply saddened.

Why don’t we agree on opening the communication available for everyone, like in Formula 1? That will attract people and the sport would prove to be modern and global.

I'd love to see this. All communication between the DS and riders to be open and heard by spectators. It would certainly explain a little more of the strategy employed by teams.
